Glass Cutting
We master the art of cutting, both laminated and monolithic glass. With advanced, computer-controlled cutting tables, we can realize both models and rectangular shapes with precision. Our glass cutting capacity ranges from 3 mm to 19 mm thickness.

After cutting the glass, sharp edges are removed through grinding and polishing. This process, known as "Poli," includes coarse pre-grinding, fine re-grinding, and finally polishing.

Facet/Miter
Facet is a beveled edge of a specific width on the edge of the glass. Almost all types of glass, regardless of thickness, can be equipped with a carefully ground beveled edge. The width of the facet is proportional to the thickness of the glass; the thicker the glass, the wider the facet can be made. Double facet grinding is also possible.

Miter grinding is a similar operation to polishing, where the grinding wheels are at a variable angle of 0 to 45 degrees against the glass. The thickness of the glass is ground and/or polished, possibly with the retention of a residual value.

Sandblasting involves blasting sand mixed with air at high pressure onto the glass. Using this method, we can partly or fully frost glass, but also, for example, mirrors. This includes lines, blocks, drawings, and company logos. Besides these possibilities, we can also sandblast in gradations and thus create a gradient from matte to transparent.

We expertly join glass pieces invisibly and firmly with UV bonding, using aerospace-derived techniques for seamless, durable connections. This process, done in our UV bonding department, requires specific adhesives to achieve clear, strong bonds quickly. Tests confirm these bonds are more reliable than the glass itself.
